What services do Fineshade Studios offer?

Fineshade Studios specialise in editorial and documentary wedding photography and videography across Northamptonshire and the UK, offering full-day coverage, destination weddings, engagement shoots, and fine-art style editing.

Do you provide both photography and videography?

Yes — Fineshade Studios offers combined photography and cinematic videography packages, aerial footage and photography, digital and analogue/35mm film photography, allowing couples to capture their day in a range of still and moving forms.

Do you cover weddings outside Northamptonshire?

Absolutely! The team travels throughout the UK and abroad for destination weddings, elopements, and editorial shoots.

How far in advance should I book my wedding photographer?

Most couples book between 9–18 months in advance, especially for summer weddings. Early booking ensures preferred dates are secured, however as we are a tight knit team of eight, we have the capacity to cover more than one wedding per day. This means we often have flexibility to take on weddings even at very short notice!

Packages & Pricing

What is included in your wedding photography packages?

Packages typically include pre-wedding consultations, full-day coverage, professionally edited high-resolution early release images 48-72 hours post-wedding hosted in an online digital gallery. Optional extras include fine-art albums, content creation service, analogue photography and drone footage and photography. Prices start at £2150 for full day coverage.

Do you offer custom wedding packages?

Yes — packages can be tailored to longer and shorter events. We can cover on an hour by hour basis through to a several day long event. This might include destination travel, additional photographers, or bespoke videography depending on the couple’s needs.​

What photography style does Fineshade Studios use?

Our style is a mix of fine art, editorial and documentary. Fineshade Studios combine candid storytelling with elegant, editorial composition and timeless tones. We work to keep the colours as true-to-tone as possible to preserve the authenticity of the day. We are client-lead and we will work with each couple on a wedding-by-wedding basis to maximise the time our clients have with friends and family whilst delivering the elegant, playful and artful images we are known for. ​

Our focus on artistic storytelling, natural light, and emotional detail creates images that feel both elegant and genuinely personal.
