Amy & Rob, The Reading Rooms, Norfolk, August 2022

Updated: Apr 8

Amy + Rob got married and it was full to the brim of homemade and sentimental touches.

From the foraged dried flowers and hand-crafted wooden vases painstakingly created as a labour of love by Amy and her now father-in-law, to the piglet motifs found scattered around the venue; to the tatty and much-loved antique family bears; the children’s story adapted, personalised and read by mothers of bride and groom; the copious amounts of food; to the lyrics of their favourite song sang by a friend during the service (hauntingly beautiful -you could hear a pin-drop and tears were shed); to the family quiz laid out across the banquet tables; to the delicious Sri-Lankan menu, all held together in the most intimate of settings @readingroomweddings. Their wedding day felt very much like a very beautiful, very meaningful family affair :)

I have just sent Amy her previews (of which I cannot wait to share more!) and she said

“Oooh! We've got goosebumps! No sooner than Rob had carried me across the threshold into our house after our lovely mini-moon, we receive this exciting message! These previews are absolutely beautiful! You captured our perfect day equally as perfectly and we couldn't be happier. Thank you both so much for everything that you've done and for what is yet to come..”
