Should you schedule time for smoke bombs on your wedding day?

Updated: May 11, 2023

We believe that every moment is precious and deserves to be captured in the most beautiful way possible. Bridal party portraits are one of the most special moments of any wedding, and we're excited to share our tips for making them even more unique and memorable. In this guide, we'll show you how to use smoke bombs to create fun and dynamic group portraits that truly capture the essence of your big day.

Bullet point list:

  1. The right smoke bombs can make all the difference in creating stunning bridal party portraits. Choose smoke bombs that match your wedding theme and complement your bridal party's attire. We recommend colors like white, pink, blue, or purple, and selecting smoke bombs with a low-to-medium density for clear visibility of your bridal party.

  2. Find a location that suits your vision: Our team of professionals will work with you to choose a location that complements your wedding theme and captures the spirit of your bridal party. Whether it's a beautiful garden or a scenic beach, we'll find the perfect spot to create magical moments with smoke bombs. Some venues will not allow them, as they are a form of pyrotechnic. If you want to do Smoke Bombs in a public area you need to get the correct permission to use them. Under 18s can't use them and all parties must follow the correct procedures when using them. Fineshade Studios aren't responsible for your smoke flares or the use of them, and we won't touch them, however we're more than happy to photograph you with them!

3. Communicate with your bridal party: Clear communication is key to capturing the perfect shot. Before using smoke bombs, we'll ensure that everyone in your bridal party is comfortable with the idea and understands what to expect. We'll guide them on where to stand and what poses to make to create beautiful and dynamic photos.
