Lara and Ant had a vision! We've had the pleasure of shooting weddings at the incredibly beautiful Northamptonshire venue of Kelmarsh Hall before. However, none of the team behind the execution of Lara's concept had seen the gardens used to such aplomb before. Why go to Tuscany when you can bring a little slice of Italy to England?

The bridal party palette reflected the peachy hues of Kelmarsh's pretty entrance hall, but in doing so it also gave a contemporary twist upon the Italian garden vibes of the tables. Lara's hair was set into a classic soft Hollywood wave and her choice of gown reflected Lara's contemporary classic style.
Are you dreaming of a romantic and enchanting wedding with a touch of Tuscan elegance, but find yourself in the charming countryside of England? Fear not! With careful planning and attention to detail, you can bring the essence of Tuscany to your wedding day, creating a memorable experience for you and your guests. In this blog post, we will guide you through the steps to plan and execute your very own Tuscan-inspired wedding in England.

Select the Perfect Venue:
The first step in creating a Tuscan atmosphere is choosing the ideal venue. Look for venues that reflect the rustic charm of Tuscany, such as historic country houses, barns, or vineyards. Seek locations with beautiful gardens or picturesque outdoor spaces, allowing you to recreate the ambiance of the Tuscan countryside. Lara and Ant chose to incorporate Kelmarsh's beautiful sunken garden into their ceremony and had guests in a semi-circle surrounding them as they exchanged vows. Then it was off to the secret walled garden for drinks and confetti surrounded by a garden in bloom.
Set the Scene with Decor:
When it comes to decor, focus on capturing the essence of Tuscan aesthetics. Opt for earthy color palettes with warm hues like terracotta, olive green, and muted gold. The neutral peaches that Lara opted for through her bridesmaids and florals are a contemporary twist on the terracotta. Incorporate natural elements like wooden accents, stone, and wrought iron. Enhance the atmosphere with abundant floral arrangements featuring local blooms and greenery, reminiscent of the Tuscan landscape. Lara worked alongside Kelmarsh's own gardener and florist to incorporate blooms from the surrounding gardens into her bouquet and tablescape. Ant surprised Lara with a champagne tower which was set before the stunning landscape behind the grounds of Kelmarsh.

Tuscan-Inspired Fashion:
Incorporate Tuscan elegance into your attire choices. For the bride, consider a romantic lace gown with subtle vintage details. Accessorize with delicate gold jewelry and a flower crown or a vineyard-inspired hairpiece. Grooms can opt for a tailored suit in a light or earthy color, paired with a linen shirt and a classic bowtie. Encourage your guests to embrace the theme by suggesting Tuscan-inspired attire or providing them with style guidelines.
Capture the Tuscan Vibe:
To ensure the memories of your Tuscan-inspired wedding last a lifetime, hire a photographer and/or videographer who can capture the essence of the day. Seek professionals who specialise in capturing natural light and outdoor settings. Plan for a romantic sunset photoshoot, taking advantage of the golden hour. Encourage your guests to take part in creating memories by setting up a photo booth with Tuscan-themed props.
Conclusion:
Whilst you may be miles away from the Tuscan countryside, planning and executing a Tuscan-inspired wedding in England is entirely possible. By selecting the perfect venue, curating the decor and cuisine, embracing Tuscan fashion and entertainment, and capturing the essence of Tuscany through photography, you can transport yourself and your guests to an enchanting celebration reminiscent of the romantic landscapes of Italy. Remember, attention to detail and a commitment to the theme will bring the magic of Tuscany to life on your special day.

Embrace Tuscan Cuisine:
Food is an integral part of any Tuscan-inspired celebration. Work with your caterer to create a menu inspired by authentic Tuscan cuisine. Incorporate local ingredients, such as artisanal cheeses, cured meats, fresh herbs, and seasonal produce. Consider serving traditional Tuscan dishes like bruschetta, pappa al pomodoro, homemade pasta, and roasted meats. Enhance the experience with a selection of Tuscan wines and a signature cocktail.
